From the Editors:
Tim has been out for the month of July. Doing what, we're not exactly at liberty to say. We can say definitively that he did NOT spend July building a giant trebuchet (sadly, he was not invited) or losing for the 10,000th time at anything, as the Philadelphia Phillies did in the game of baseball recently. He also came no closer to breaking Henry Aaron's all-time home run record; he still trails Hammerin' Hank by the fairly wide margin of 755.
Tim's absence has left us, the Editors, with a little more time on our hands. We trained for and ran the half-marathon, crocheted a sweater using our own hair, successfully built a house of cards using both Uno decks, and finally got that bullet out of there.
We hope Tim will be back any day now, or else we're going to have to keep posting re-runs, like this story he wrote in Creative Writing class in college.
